Image
quality
In Hollywood, the cameras move.
Sometimes they pan or tilt on a tripod, but frequently cameras
in Hollywood move on a dolly, a body mounted stabilizer like
a Steadycam, a crane or camera jib. Waterman
Video Productions is also equipped with all these
kinds of tools, to make our cameras move, so that your video
can move it's intended audience.
Whether
we're shooting on location, or in the studio, we have the
equipment we need to produce images with maximum impact.

Lighting
Lighting is an often overlooked element in many video productions.
It's easy to assume that if there is enough light to shoot,
you can shoot. Even more important than the amount of light
is the quality of light. The fact is that good
lighting in film or video, doesn't happen by accident. David
Waterman's six and a half years of experience as a studio
photographer at his portrait studio, translates well when
lighting for video. To appreciate the importance of good
quality light, think about the difference between
a picture of a person that was taken using a point and shoot
camera with a built in flash, and a picture taken at a good
portrait studio. There's a reason that the studio portrait
cameras don't use a built-in flash and the amount
of light needed to expose the film has nothing to do with
it. Better quality light gives you a better quality program.

Good
Sound
Good
sound can make all the difference between a good presentation,
and a great one. When recording sound on location, a good
selection of microphones is important. The acoustical considerations
at different locations dictate the placement and type of microphone
needed to capture optimum quality sound. So whether your shoot
calls for wired or wireless, shotgun or lavaliere, stereo
or mono, we have the mics we need, to do the job right.
